What began in 2000 as a small country restaurant has grown over the years into a place of authentic, all-embracing hospitality. Il Girasole Village sits on a sun-drenched hilltop in Massignano, commanding sweeping views of the Adriatic Sea and the Sibillini Mountains — a rare setting, just five minutes from the beaches of Cupra Marittima and less than an hour from the Sibillini Mountains National Park.
With welcoming rooms, luxurious Safari Tents, a restaurant serving traditional Marche cuisine, a panoramic saltwater pool and spacious gardens, we offer the perfect retreat for families and couples seeking beauty, peace and authenticity. Here the landscape shifts with the seasons, medieval hilltop villages seem suspended in time, and local flavours tell a culinary story centuries in the making.
Our Restaurant
Every morning and every evening, the kitchen at Il Girasole fills with the aromas of traditional Marche cuisine. It is Francesco, the heart of our family, who prepares every dish with his own hands: recipes passed down through time, made with simple, local and seasonal ingredients.
Breakfast is a gentle awakening with homemade cakes, jams from our garden and Italian coffee. At dinner, the flavours of Le Marche come to the table with handmade pasta, grilled meats and vegetables from the garden — dishes that tell the story of this land.
In the evening, after a day of sea and discoveries, the restaurant becomes the convivial heart of the property: a warm and familiar atmosphere, a glass of Rosso Piceno and the starry sky of the Marche hills.
Our Swimming Pool
Nestled in the green hills of Le Marche, our panoramic saltwater pool offers a unique view: on one side the blue of the Adriatic Sea, on the other the profiles of the Sibillini Mountains.
The natural saltwater is gentle on the skin, doesn’t irritate the eyes and doesn’t wash away your tan. A place of tranquillity where you can relax in the sun among loungers and parasols, enjoying the hillside breeze.
